As a 13-year-old girl, Yulenny feared that her condition would turn her into someone that people would tease. This was yet another case of thoracic-lumbar scoliosis.

Since she was only 13 years old, Yulenny had many dreams for her future. Thanks to the Butterfly Foundation and everyone involved, her possibilities for a better future have opened. Her surgery has helped her feel more confident and the constant pain that was a part of her everyday life has disappeared.
